there are 100 cents in a dollar[aud of course:)]. coins come in the
following dominations: $.05 or 5 cents, $.1 or 10 cents, $20 or 20
cents(chenar你好生罗嗦), $.50 or 50 cents[:(], $1 dollar, $2
dollars.
blablabla...
it's strange that the coins are not in the size order. 50c is the
largest, and then 20c, 1 dollar, 10c, 2 dollars, 5c. the dollars are
golden and the cents are silver colored. (anyone knows how to say
银白色的?)
i went to canberra yesterday and visited the Royal Australian Mint.
there are all kinds of coins made in australia displayed there. and
there is a coin machine which can make coins for you: you are the
very first person to touch the coin and it's yours. i put 2 dollars
into the slot and a brand-new 1 dollar coin came out. [the other
dollar was denoted to the Mint. :(] i was given a card which can keep
and protect the coin for me.
