John Sibert, Ph.D. Managing Director
Dr. Sibert is the immediate past Chief Operating Officer of the California State University Institute overseeing all commercialization of technology activities from the 23 CSU campuses. He is the former Executive Director of the Alaska Science & Technology Foundation ($100M venture fund investing in early-stage companies). Prior to that, he managed the Corporate Research Laboratory for Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO). Dr. Sibert has been a chemistry professor at Yale University and at California Institute of Technology. He is the current Chairman of the National Association of Seed & Venture Funds, and on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Regional Technology Alliance and the State of California Capital Formation and Business Investment Committee. He is a Trustee of the Claremont Graduate University.
