“Everything works better being in good mood” — the main aspect of the fashion trends this summer. Fashion labels from all over the world have presented their fanciest collections in February on the fashion fair CPD. Fresh and brilliant colors and attractive prints could be seen on shirts, trousers, skirts, dresses, stockings and pantyhose. Especially in summer brilliant colors are fashionable, because they look better and brighter.

Sporty styles remain trendy
The sport remains being a basic idea and a source for inspiration. Concerning the spring/summer collection this means: track suits, sailing shirts, tennis skirts, boxers blousons, surfing and judo suits are modified into everyday wearable fashion. Sweatshirts and tank tops are combined with sports clubs’ blazers, tennis skirts with white blousons or polo shirts with stripes. The domination of the sportswear has caused the return of details and shapes of the 80’s, the decade when the modern sportswear has been created. Besides, the return of the 80’s the fashion has focused on dotted skirts as a reminiscence to the 30’s and 40’s. Still the JLo-style (Jennifer Lopez) suites in candy colors remain part of this year’s fashion.

The 60’s have taken a leading role in almost every international collection. This trend doesn’t only lead to the mini-skirt, but also to defined structures, graphical contrasts and a revitalizing actuality in fashion. Combined with these trends there is a return of body shaped dresses, short coats with small collars. Shining materials, ribbons and perfectly designed details remind of a luxury fashion culture. On the other end of the so-called “smart fashion” there are slack suits that seem like a gift of one’s Sicilian friend. The need for new outfits and a certain plain look is now interpreted this way. Nevertheless everything can be combined with a mini, jeans, blouses or flat ballerina shoes. Graphic designs cannot only be found on minis — shoes in several colors, reaching from ballerinas to sneakers, are en vogue. And people wishing to polish up their basics can do that with one of the new hosieries in trendy colors.
