主题: Speaking 7分的经验分享
I took the IELTS test three times in six month and got 5, 6 and 7 in speaking respectively. I got a lot of information here. In order to thank Hello UK' members, I'd like to share my experience to you.
How I improve my speaking in 6 month? The most important thing is practice. I have spoken in English with my husband every day from last February until now. About 95% of our conversation is in English. Then, the second time ielts test of 14 Feb this year, I improved 1 band in speaking. But it was not good enough, I need overall 7 and I know I hardly can get 7 in reading and listening. The only way to get overall 7 is to improve my speaking and writing as much as possible. I do not mean I did not prepare listening and reading. I just spent more time on writing and speaking. In fact, if you can speak English(no Chinese) in your daily life with your family or friends, about one month later, you will find that you think in English and speak it but not translate Chinese into English. By this way, it's not difficult to get 6 in speaking.
As for how to get 7? I firmly believe that the following items are the way to go.
1.Keep practicing speaking Enlish every day.
2.Get some speaking questions from ielts books or from the intertnet and
prepare your own answers. From my experience, it is very good for your
marks to tell the examiners your true experiences, especially the
happiest or saddest or the most interest one to touch their mind. If you
don't have relative experiences, you can make a story. But be sure to
make it like a true story.
3.Have confidece in your self. Don't be nervous in the interview. The
examiner is also the human being. He or she will not bite you. Remember
you have paid NT4100 to take the test. You have your right to show your
English and ideas in the exam. Trust me, just give your opinion bravely,
and you will not regret anything as well as may be satisfied with your
marks.
4.If you have budgets, find a native speaker to correct your pronunciation.
Ok, hope the above can help you. Good luck every one.
